1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Remarkable Electric website (remarkableelectric.ca) and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
Remarkable Electric provides residential and commercial electrical services in Hamilton, Niagara, and Southern Ontario. All electrical work is performed by licensed electricians under ESA Licence #7018179. Services include but are not limited to electrical repairs, panel upgrades, EV charger installations, lighting, generator installations, and home electrical health checks.
3. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided by Remarkable Electric are flat-rate and provided in writing before work begins. The quoted price is the final price unless additional work is requested or unforeseen conditions are discovered, in which case we will inform you and obtain approval before proceeding. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
4. Permits and Inspections
Remarkable Electric handles all required electrical permits and coordinates ESA (Electrical Safety Authority) inspections for work that requires them. Permit fees are included in our quoted prices unless otherwise stated. All work is performed in compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
5. Lifetime Workmanship Warranty
All labour performed by Remarkable Electric is covered by our lifetime workmanship warranty. This means if any work we performed fails due to our workmanship, we will return and repair it at no additional cost for the lifetime of the installation. This warranty covers labour only and does not cover manufacturer product defects, normal wear and tear, damage caused by third parties, or issues arising from misuse. Product warranties are subject to the respective manufacturer terms.
6. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with our work, contact us within 30 days and we will return to make it right at no additional charge. This guarantee applies to the quality of workmanship and does not cover changes in scope or design preferences after work has been completed.
7. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, credit card, and financing through Financeit (subject to credit approval). A deposit may be required for large projects or special-order materials. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by Ontario law.
8. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel a scheduled appointment at no charge with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. If work has already begun, you are responsible for payment for work completed and materials ordered.
9. Health Check Service ($99.99)
The Home Electrical Health Check is a 10-point inspection service priced at $99.99 regardless of home size. The inspection results in a written report with photos delivered via email on the same day. There is no obligation to purchase any additional services based on the findings. The health check price does not include any repairs or additional work.
